Devil drawing

This guy probably has hair on his palms so you should probably not shake his hands. This started as yet another study and grew to something else. There is some tweaks in Photoshop, and I attempted to color it, but I think I like the black and white better. This is the first pencil rendered drawing I've done in a long time, I should do more.

Henrich Kley inkwash study

To my knowledge Henrich Kley never worked in ink washes but I did a study of one of his pen and inks, in ink wash. I seem to do studies lately in a different medium than the original. I did some photoshop tinkering and the scan isn't all that good as the original is 11x15 and my scanner isn't. Also the caption on the right is from the original.

The Fall of Jane Smith

This is Jane and she is going to fall. A character from an upcoming self publishing project. I'm still trying to figure her out.

Damage Duck Robo

Inspired by Ashley Wood, also inspired by Bobby Chiu's words on Twitter. Not quite the painterly quality I was looking for but I'm happy none the less. I can't wait to try more. Also looked like a badly formed robotic duck when I got done, hence the name.

Swimsuit

Something lighthearted this time. I think she has the self satisfied grin you get when you're being playful, or you just made you point and are happy with it. Maybe she's just happy.

Monkey Mod benefit piece

This is my interpretation of Kevin Crosses "Monkey Mod" character. Done for a benefit auction for one of my favorite and worth while podcasts, "Big Illustration Party Time."

You can find them here: http://www.illustrationparty.blogspot.com/

You can see the other entries for the auction here: http://pcweenies.com/

PS as with a lot of my pen and ink work it's much better in person, and in this case one of you could own this piece and help out someone as well.
